The enterprise is located in the central part of Baranovichi and is one of the largest commercial enterprises in the city. It began its activity as store No. 10 in June 1967, which was part of the Baranovichi Gorpromtorg. On November 1, 1992, the store withdrew from the Baranovichi Gorpromtorg and acquired the status of an independent enterprise under the name of the State Trade Enterprise "House of Trade "Rainbow".

Work is constantly being carried out to improve the organizational structure of the enterprise: sections were enlarged, new sections were opened, and the location of sections was changed.
As a result, the enterprise has 27 non-food retail sections.
